Renwick Park can now offer agistment at reasonable prices. Quality grass is plentiful year round and there is little need for hard feeding. Our soil is mainly basalt and we are currently fertilising and further pasture improving each paddock. Most paddocks have their own dams. Each paddock is well fenced and we are constantly improving these! Our new fences consist of galvanised star posts with long white caps, top strand is white sight-wire, followed beneath by chicken wire. Our new fences are finished with electric stand offs. Most paddocks have laneways so horses cannot communicate/fight over fences. Currently, we can only offer paddock agistment but stable accommodation will be available in the future. Our 60m x 30m arena is now complete and is fully fenced! A 20m round yard is available as are 2 holding yards. Our property is close to numerous trails. Please contact us to discuss individual requirements as we are flexible with the agistment described below. We are more than happy to accommodate short-term and/or holiday agistment. Our rates are as follows:-
Shared Paddock
Horses to share a paddock with other horses at the discretion of Renwick Park. Renwick Park will check these horses daily. Any minor injury eg small cut, infected eye, will be treated by Renwick Park as they see fit. Owners will be informed of any injury/illness that will require more than 1 treatment and will continue to treat horse at the owner’s expense or horse to be treated by the owner. A vet or farrier will be called, if warranted, at the owner’s expense. Any feed requirements are at the owner’s expense and are to be carried out by the owner. Regular worming and hoof maintenance is the responsibility of the owner unless prior arrangement has been made with Renwick Park. All costs involved are to be paid by the owner and may include a handling charge by Renwick Park.
Cost: $55 inc GST per horse per week for broodmares, spelling or retired horses. This does not include use of facilities.
Individual Paddock
Horses to have their own paddock which may be shared by 2 or more horses which are owned by the same owner. Renwick Park will check these horses daily. Any minor injury eg small cut, infected eye, will be treated by Renwick Park as they see fit. Owners will be informed of any injury/illness that will require more than 1 treatment and will continue to treat horse at the owner’s expense or horse to be treated by the owner. A vet or farrier will be called, if warranted, at the owner’s expense. One hard feed per day will incur an additional weekly cost of $10 or $20 per week for 2 daily feeds per horse + GST. Renwick Park can provide basic feeds such as good quality hay, pellets and lucerne chaff. Any additional feed, minerals are to be supplied by the owner. Regular worming and hoof maintenance is the responsibility of the owner unless prior arrangement has been made with Renwick Park. All costs involved are to be paid by the owner and may include a handling charge by Renwick Park. Rugging may be available for an additional charge.
Cost: $88 inc GST per horse per week with use of facilities (roundyard, arena etc)
Please note: Grass is plentiful and hard feeding will be rarely required.
